nhrc vents ire at officials for not filing replies to its notices [ http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/article3740104.ece ]
isn't the article title very interesting ? it provides information about the nhrc displeasure & ire directed at coimbatore district collector, superintendent of police, thiruvannamali, & other police & revenue officials.
if you have read the entire article, you will not find the names of the errant officials. is it an error of commission or omission ? or the editor & staff reporters assumed the lay readers knowledge of the official names ?
however, if you compare the article published by the times of india "nhrc fines coimbatore collector" [ http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Default/Scripting/ArticleWin.asp?From=Archive&Source=Page&Skin=TOINEW&BaseHref=TOICH/2012/08/08&PageLabel=7&EntityId=Ar00701&ViewMode=HTML] has given the names of the coimbatore district collector, but did not mention about superintendent of police, thiruvannamali.
don't you think something is better than nothing.
i did search on tamil nadu police department website & found the name of the of superintendent of police, thiruvannamali.
superintendent of police, thiruvannamali : r.v.ramya bharati [ http://www.tnpolice.gov.in/contact.html ]
coimbatore district collector : m.karunaharan [ http://coimbatore.nic.in/contacts.html ]
